Conference Venue

The Universitat Politècnica de València, also known as the Technical University of Valencia, is a relatively young institution with over 50 years of history. The origins of the Polytechnic date back nearly a century with the establishment of the Industrial Engineering Schools in Alcoy and Valencia. Subsequently, the School of Agriculture was founded in 1959 and the School of Architecture in 1966, forming the core of the Polytechnic Institute in 1968. In the 1968-69 academic year, the Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering Schools were also established. Today, the Technical University of Valencia comprises 14 colleges and 10 research institutes.

New infrastructure has been developed for cultural activities, including modern conference facilities and comfortable accommodation within walking distance. The university has auditoriums with excellent acoustics, state-of-the-art sound systems, show lighting and graphics, a variety of meeting rooms and congress halls, exhibition rooms, and more.

The university has excellent connections to many interesting and relevant landmarks and places in the city. There are frequent bus connections to the city center (10-15 minutes frequency, around 20-25 minutes travel time), as well as connections to the city center via tram + metro system (10 minutes frequency, around 15 minutes travel time). Additionally, the university is very close to the beach and sea (around 10 minutes by tram), enjoying a privileged location in the city.

The conference rooms and registration are located at the “Centro de Formación Permanente” (Continuing Education Center), building 6G.
